I love the honey mustard dressing that Bennigan’s serves on their country chicken salad. I discovered this copycat recipe on line at cdkitchen.com. Check it out for lots of your favorites.
Ingredients:
- 3/4 cup sour cream
- 1/3 cup mayonnaise
- 1/3 cup Dijon mustard
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon lemon juice
In a mixing bowl, combine the sour cream, mayonnaise, and mustard. Blend thoroughly using a wire whisk. Slowly pour in the honey and lemon juice. Continue mixing ingredients until dressing is smooth and well combined.
This makes about 2 cups. Refrigerated, it will keep for several days. Use it as a salad dressing or a dunk for chicken fingers or nuggets.
