June 2006 found us driving north to higher
elevations and cooler air, a relief from Texas in an early and very hot
summer. We had two primary destinations: Walden, Colorado, to visit
daughter Emilie and her family, and the Black Hills of South
Dakota.
Travel along with us as we head for the hills—lots of them. |
